Getting around

Vehicle Recommended: To fully enjoy the Costa Vicentina, we highly recommend having a car or motorcycle. While the Villa is a 4-minute drive from local amenities in Vale da Telha, the main town of Aljezur is 10km away (approx. 10–12 minutes by car). Parking: Parking is exceptionally easy, free, and safe. You can park directly on the street in front of the house entrance. Public Transport: Please note that while public transport exists, it is not frequent and is generally not practical for reaching the various surf beaches or trailheads. A private vehicle is essential for a seamless experience in this rural part of Portugal. Electric Vehicles (EV): If you are arriving with an electric vehicle, the nearest public charging stations are located in Aljezur town (10km) at the local Intermarché supermarket. Tesla Destination Charging is available in Lagos and Sagres. Unfortunately due to local grid limitations we cannot yet offer any kind EV charging at the property. Airport Transfers: We are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Faro Airport (FAO). We recommend pre-booking a private transfer or renting a car at the airport, other options can be significantly more expensive. Taxis & Rideshare: Local taxis are available but should be booked in advance, especially during the high season. Rideshare apps (like Uber or Bolt) have usually limited availability in this rural area.

Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Unauthorized late check-outs disrupt operations, particularly in busy periods, and incur a €50/hour fee to cover additional staffing costs.

House Rules

To maintain the safety, sustainability, and peaceful atmosphere of our 1,800m² estate, we ask you to observe the following: - Occupancy: Only guests included in the confirmed reservation are permitted overnight. Day visitors are welcome in your private garden but may not use the shared pool or central garden facilities. - Check-in & Check-out: Check-in starts at 4:00 PM; Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Please request early/late access at least 48 hours in advance. Unauthorized late check-outs disrupt operations and incur a €50/hour fee to cover additional staffing costs. - Shared Spaces & Hours: The central lawn and pool are open 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM. The pergola and BBQ facilities near the pool, adjacent to the larger main residence, are for private use only. - Safety & Care: Children must be supervised at all times in shared areas. Please shower before entering the pool. No diving or running. - Quiet Hours: To respect the natural surroundings and our neighbors, please observe silence from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. - Critical Infrastructure (Septic System): As is common in this rural region, our system is sensitive. Flush only toilet paper. Do not flush anything else, even "flushable" wipes, feminine products, or paper towels. Prohibited: No smoking/vaping in shared areas, no pets, parties, events, drones or illegal substances. Security: For the safety of all residents, please keep the street gate closed at all times. Property Care: Do not rearrange furniture. If you move sunbeds in the shared area, please return them to their original positions. Please leave the kitchen tidy and remove all garbage upon departure. Linens: For stays of 14+ days, one complimentary change of linens/towels is provided upon request. Additional changes are €15/guest. Damaged or permanently stained linens will incur a €20 replacement fee per item. Media: Commercial photography or filming is strictly prohibited without prior written agreement. Our Dog: Luna, our friendly and child-loving dog, has access to the shared garden areas. Thank you for helping us maintain Yucca Garden as a sustainable peaceful place. — Kinga & Miguel

Refundable Damage Deposit

The damage deposit is collected on booking and is refunded on check-out day. It will be reimbursed to your card within 1 to 3 days.
