Monte Clérigo, Arrifana and Amoreira are among the nearby beaches featured in our original local guide. Monte Clérigo offers a broad stretch of sand; Arrifana sits within a striking bay; and at Amoreira, the river from Aljezur meets the Atlantic.
Further along the coast, Odeceixe is known for the winding river that meets the sea. Combine a beach visit with a walk through the village and a look at its windmill.
